Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful quality from recycled plastics!!! I wear my 8 4Ocean bracelets to show them off & promote 4Ocean...a LOT of people notice them & have heard of your organization & I can always tell them more!!! I always tell them to go to your website or Facebook page & order a bracelet. What you all are doing is such a terrific service to our oceans & sea life & humanity...Now to educate corporations to the destruction they perpetuate with all the plastic, etc., so, perhaps, they will find different ways to package their products. The Earth & the Ocean doesn't belong to US...WE belong to the Earth & the Ocean & Mother Nature along with EVERY animal, etc...Thank you for what you do...Keep up the good work!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It fell apart after 5 days I’m sad and disappointed. I read reviews that said they fall apart but thought it was such a great cause and the bracelet was nice. After wearing it for about 5 days it started to fall apart and unravel :( I was going to get one for my daughter for Christmas but I’d rather donate to organization to help take care of animals and the ocean then buy a broken bracelet and maybe get a T-shirt or stuffed animal instead. Seems so wasteful and not helpful to the environment that I now have to throw out the plastic and string I am trying to prevent harming the environment

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save ocean - even if your country is not close! I ordered it 8 days ago and today I was surprised by package from 4ocean! It was very fast delivery - I live in Czechia - but everything was save and without problems. I very much appreciate the fact that the package is itself recyclable paper. I got two stickers ("4ocean" and "1 pound") so I proudly put them on my file for school documents so I will see it everyday. I liked paper with informations about living manatee. In the end I just absolutely love my bracelet and handmade sack for it! It fits me perfect, even though I have a slim wrist. Material is comfortable and high quality. Looks just amazing. Mainly thing is, it will help me everyday to think about saving oceans and don't buy unnecessary plastic! I wish everyone will buy at least one, so we can help our oceans more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my 4Ocean Manatee Bracelet! Bought this less than a month ago and I really like it. Not only wearing it but the fact that trash was pulled from our oceans/coastlines and our precious manatees were also helped. You don't have to live in a coastal state to appreciate these. Everyone loves the serenity of the ocean as well as the creature who call it home. We all should pitch in to help our environment if we can. I purchased mine after watching Big Brother 20 and saw Tyler wearing one. My purchase is dedicated to Tyler and his girl, Angela. Thanks for bringing awareness to this awesome cause.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My bracelet fell apart! I’ve bought several bracelets from 4Ocean and love knowing that I’m helping out in my own little way. Unfortunately, this particular one fell apart after less than a week. The little knot holding it all together came lose and fell off. It’s no big deal to me, since the main reason i do this is to help our oceans but you might want to check quality control to see if there is something going on. All my others have held up beautifully!

I bought a bracelet for myself and granddaughter. Her's was the manatee one and myself was just the 4oceans. I was disappointed that her's didn't have a little manatee symbol attached to it. Is there any outlet that I can find one and attach it to.

Asked by: Maudie
Hi Maudie, look on eBay. I've just seen quite a big choice, from sellers in UK, USA and Australia. Make sure to check out the size as I think some look too big. Hope this helps.

How is it that you remove a pound of plastic from the ocean, every month for every membership? I am interested in joining, just curious.

Asked by: Kasianikole
The purchase of a bracelet (or other items from our store including the subscription) funds the tools, equipment, and operational expenses needed for clean-up efforts around the world. This allows us to have our fleet (both domestically and internationally) cleaning the oceans as much as they can each day! Our Haiti division alone is able to retrieve and properly recycle more than 3,000 pounds a day. Not to mention the bracelets also fund the cleanup events all over the globe where staff and volunteers collect trash together to make the world and oceans cleaner than before. : )

What gave you the the idea for the bracelets? It was a great one

Asked by: Jolee2006
When the founders of 4ocean saw the impact that trash has on our oceans, sea life, and human life, they knew that something had to be done and that we all could change our mindset on waste. They wanted to create something that could fund the desired cleanup efforts which led to the creation of our bracelets! There are many reasons as to why bracelets became a signature item for 4ocean including the fact that they are lightweight, visible but out of the way, adjust (so it's comfortable for all ages to wear), easy to create with limited carbon impact, and easy to distribute to supporters and others to spread the mission and love for cleaner oceans.

My bracelet won't stay on because the knots have unraveled. How do you fix that?

Asked by: Luvlyorchid
Definitely try burning the ends. Mine also had an issue, I just retied then burned the end a little.

How much of the cost of the bracelet goes to cleaning up the trash and protecting the manatees?

Asked by: Linda73
As we are a BBB regulated for-profit company dedicated to cleaner oceans, every bracelet sale goes towards the operational expenses of pulling trash out of our oceans, and due to the many variables attributed to these efforts, there is no set percentage breakdown for cleaning up the oceans. However, 10% of each bracelet sold for the manatee edition is donated to "Save the Manatee"!

Why is the size measured in diameter instead of circumference? Seems like a wrist 7” around will fit into a 5” diameter, but why not describe the size in the way most of us will measure for it?  Thanks for your GREAT WORK!!!

Asked by: TriviaGoddess
Hey there, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this and this is an excellent question! The standard for measuring most jewelry like (bracelets, earrings, and rings) is through the diameter of the area rather than the circumference. The diameter is the length of the line between two points (opposite) of each other on the edge of a circle. So it's pretty much just measuring the length between the bottom of your wrist to the top for the bracelet to fit you comfortably. However, the bracelets are adjustable and fit wrists a little over 10 inches at its largest and 6.3 inches at its smallest.
