Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doing Work for the Planet I bought the first of several bracelets. I wrote a national commentary publicizing your fantastic organization and published it on 15 different national news service websites. I love what you're doing because I have been picking up trash for 50 years and can say that I have picked up over 1 million pieces of trash on six continents. What I would like to see is a national-international push for a 25 cent deposit-return law to stop the plastic from hitting the oceans in the first place. With an economic incentive of 25 cents per piece of plastic, it would go a long way in preventing the enormous amount of plastic being dumped into the oceans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderful cause, great information Yellow was a good color to pick, appropriate for featuring the seabirds, I felt. What I like most about what 4ocean does on their website, Is featuring a monthly cause and offering lots of information about their partnering with certain groups and the animals being featured. I learn something new about this amazing planet every month by reading what 4ocean has written, and watching the carefully planned out videos too. I not only share them on facebook, I share them in messenger and I also take screenshots of the articles every month to keep them on my tablet for reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love supporting these guys! We are enrolled in the monthly subscription program, but we also purchase individual bracelets for extra support and to give as gifts to help spread the word. Living 10 minutes from the beach here in Charleston like we do, this cause is incredibly important to me and my family. Proud to continue supporting 4Ocean.

My bracelet got broken after one month :(  Happy to have cleaned one pound of plastic, less happy not to have the bracelet with me.  Do that happen often or I’m just unlucky?

Asked by: Silvia74
The bracelets have a one year warranty. The folks at 4oceanwill be very helpful, just email them and explain. They will take care of it.

Morning .... I am wondering what you believe.... i started to shred plastic as in plastic bags, wrap etc ... I began to wonder if by doing this that once in the ocean that your machines wont be able to grab the plastic because now its too small ? TnX CB

Asked by: Windsssss
Thank you for supporting the cause, however, instead of shredding plastic bags and throwing them out, you can actually recycle them and/or return them to certain shopping centers that will accept them once more for a recycling project. With this, you can check your plastic bag to see if it has any recycling number on it such as high-density polyethylene #2 or low-density polyethylene #4 (which are the most common types) and you can recycle them in #2 or #4 recycling bins (or any bin that matches the number on the recycling number on the bag).

Do the profits made from bracelets named after a particular animal, go in some part to fund aid etc for that animal?

Asked by: Elizaj
For each purchase of a cause-specific bracelet, we are donating a portion of all sales to their respective cause organization. For example, when Manatee bracelets are purchased we make a donation to Save the Manatee.

"Helps find solutions that will halt declining seabird populations including better habitat protections, fishery management, and bycatch reduction." How? And how do the seabird bracelets help Birdlife international?

Asked by: Mandarin
The Sea Bird bracelet supports and provides a portion of all sales that go towards the Birdlife International! Seabirds are vital to the health of our oceans as well as human and marine life. BirdLife International is a global partnership of conservation organizations (NGOs) that strives to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity, working with people towards sustainability in the use of natural resources. I would like to help more than just buying a bracelet. How can I be a volunteer? Thanks!

Asked by: Vicky_perez
Thank you for showing interests in volunteering with us! : ) To volunteer and stay up to date on all of our cleanup events you can visit the following links at and The 4ocean team is constantly adding cleanup locations, traveling, and moving from coastline to coastline to help keep all beaches and oceans clean so if an event is not available in your area yet, it can be added to the list at any time so be sure to stay tuned. : ) In the meantime, we encourage everyone to be the change they’d like to see in the world. Reducing your use of single-use plastic, forming cleanups in your local area, and aiding to raise awareness of the issue of plastic ending up in the ocean, are all huge steps towards making our world a cleaner place.
