Position Overview:

4ocean is looking to hire a Chief Marketing Officer to build, manage and inspire a global marketing organization focused on its consumer business and overall company reputation. This position requires substantial experience across the full suite of consumer marketing disciplines for product marketing, digital marketing, regional and country programs, social media, retail and channel marketing, marketing analytics, branding, events and partnerships. This executive is a natural storyteller with a passion for new markets and technologies, connecting with consumers in non-obvious and creative ways. As a key member of the 4ocean management team, this executive will be responsible for the company's core marketing strategy and execution.


  • Experience with consumer aesthetic/instinct leading to distinct product positioning
  • Knowledge on how to guide a brand's reputation and experience in crisis management
  • Experience in building, executing and measuring data-driven marketing programs across online and traditional channels
  • Experience in the use of analytics tools and ROI metrics

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organization's message is homogeneously distributed across all channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives.
  • Help develop our brand and image, and then take charge of our entire on & off-line presence.
  • Branding and New business development (via marketing initiatives).
  • Putting together a roadmap and strategy on how your marketing efforts will help 4ocean grow.
  • Lead and inspire an in-house marketing team and hiring.
  • Establish marketing operational goals and key performance indicators - Monitor progress and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and teams, through measurable metrics.
  • Create and manage the marketing budget.
  • Lead the marketing content creation. Website, Sales support materials (factsheets, digital presentations, videos, website, etc.) that present our company and projects
  • Manage external communications.
  • Conduct market research and maintain a keen understanding of industry trends.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of consumer/brand experience—CMO
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, and communication or other relevant fields.
  • Preferred Master’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Experience with consumer aesthetic/instinct leading to distinct product positioning
  • Knowledge on how to guide a brand's reputation and experience in crisis management
  • Experience in building, executing and measuring data-driven marketing programs across online and traditional channels
  • Experience in the use of analytics tools and ROI metrics
  • Extensive experience in ecommerce B2C & B2B marketing.
  • Expert understanding of digital marketing, social platforms, analytics, optimization tools & traditional marketing.
  • Willingness and ability to be both hands on with all levels of the organization.
  • An ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, meet deadlines and maintain.
  • Experience developing campaigns across multiple channels including email, direct mail, paid media, search ads, etc.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience developing a KPI framework and tracking performance against stated goals.
  • Experience in the design and production of digital and print collateral.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
