Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition leader who will demonstrate business acumen, be driven by sourcing top talent, and who is innovative in her/his thinking about how to support the organizations and leaders in scaling with growth.

In this role you will apply business knowledge to inform and drive the short and long term talent management strategy and priorities for the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition organizations. You will partner with senior HR leaders, Executive Management and execute strategies and planning activities to develop talent and support organizational capability. You will demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence with data-driven recommendations. We are looking for a business partner who has the ability to proactively plan and design, as well as identify and diagnose issues in order to drive solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent through traditional and non-traditional methods, such as networking and cold calling.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units, create and implement employment marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.
  • Partner with business units to assess, determine and fill human capital needs and confer with senior leadership to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Clearly define and obtain position requirements, and gather information regarding group environment, culture, etc., to ensure proper candidate suitability.
  • Visits all hiring-manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates; attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.
  • Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Works with, directs and partner in concert with the Talent Coordinator to complete day to day recruiting efforts
  • Participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  • Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
  • Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Duties as Assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years’ experience in sourcing.
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports, and developing individuals to drive high performance.
  • Willingness and ability to be both hands on with all levels of the organization as well as serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders.
  • An ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, meet deadlines and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, written, verbal and listening skills.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization capabilities.
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced and ambiguous environment.
