Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the talent development and talent acquisition functions at 4ocean. He/She will partner with the HR team to deploy policies, processes, programs and initiatives to meet talent acquisition, training, career development, leadership development, and management development needs and goals. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will continue to drive the innovation, implementation and optimization of best practices pertaining to talent acquisition, employee development, and other related topics.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary recruiter for all Company hiring needs
  • Full life-cycle recruitment such as conducting a proper intake, candidate sourcing, advertising, research, recruitment (resume screening, screening calls, interviews), selection, offers, orientation and on-boarding
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand business objectives and candidate requirements for open positions
  • Source and recruit candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the job
  • Complete all pre-screening and screening activities for prospective employees, which includes calling previous employers and completing background screens and drug tests
  • Revise and design on-boarding and learning programs to facilitate successful on-boarding for new employees
  • Design, plan, organize, and conduct training and development programs for employees that improve individual and organizational performance
  • Partner with HR team and other leaders in the organization to determine best solutions for employee development and learning paths
  • Develop communication and marketing methods to educate employees on educational programs, training resources and opportunities, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or other related field
  • 3-5 + years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes
  • In depth knowledge of best practices and latest trends and benchmark data in talent acquisition and learning and development
  • Successful track record in talent acquisition and development
  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Maintain and build relationships with employees at all levels

Competencies:
  • Excellent relationship building, influencing, consultative and partnering skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have proven ability to modify communication/style/approach based on audience
  • Strong project and change management skills including experience managing multiple projects
  • Experience in using Social Media for talent sourcing (using forums like Linked-in, Glassdoor, twitter, discussions forums, blogs etc.) required
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environment with numerous concurrent projects; efficient multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • A positive, “can do” attitude
